You don't want to get stressed out about doing your
baby announcements so here are a few tips that can eliminate
that stress. If
at all possible, before you have your baby write a list of
your friends and relatives that you would like to send
announcements to. Try
to get a head start on your announcement by picking out a
couple of different baby announcements (one for a boy and one
for a girl) and then you customize them when your baby
arrives. You may
also be able to order your envelopes ahead of time in which
case you can have them stamped, addressed and ready to go.
The sooner you get your baby announcement mailed out,
the better, but remember not to over-do-it.
Don't forget to send out a baby announcement when
you adopt a child. On
these baby (or child) announcements include the "birth
date" and "arrival date" (if the child is
older).
